RINKO KAWAUCHI
BLUE

Rinko Kawauchi's artistic activities are highly evaluated and she received the 27th Kimura Ihei Memorial Photography Award. "Blue" is a book of photography, depicting the world of the movie "Blue," staring Mikako Ichikawa and written by Kiriko Nananan. Kawauchi's photograph portrays the fragile and vacillate period seen peculiar in girls, with a soft but cool touch, underlying the naive view of the world that the original script carries. Accompanying the filming locations, the artist, with her camera, captured girls' passions that lie next to calmness. Enjoy the world of another blue, and Mikako Ichikawa whom accomplished a big leap as an actress in this film.
